VetStreet.com recently analyzed their database to find the most popular dog names of 2014.The results will probably not surprise you. You may even know of a dog whose name appears in the list!

Out of almost a million registered dogs, Max and Bella have topped the list for the second year in a row.

The top 3 female names — Bella, Daisy and Lucy — remained in their top ranks! The name Luna made a huge jump, leaping four spots since 2013, although not included in the top 10 list. VetStreet.com links the name’s increase in popularity to the “Harry Potter” series.

For male dogs, half of the names retained their positions! Cooper, Duke, Bear, Bentley and Toby all stood tall holding their titles.
