We cannot thank Dr. Matt, Dr. Karri, and Dr. Wendi enough for the amazing work that they do.

In this video, Vet Ranch treats a homeless chocolate Labrador with a mast cell tumor.

Meet 6-year-old Cocoa! She’s a beautiful chocolate Labrador who was taken to Dr. Matt. The Lab was found homeless and had masses on her right leg and tail.

Despite her condition, Cocoa still has the amazing Labrador spirit. She is a happy pooch who likes giving and receiving love and attention. She is a pretty sweet girl too!

Dr. Matt and his team anesthetized and shaved the chocolate Lab before the vet removed the mass cell tumor from her leg.

The team then proceeded to work on the mass on Cocoa’s tail. The good news is, it turned out to be a cyst and not a tumor so it was easier to remove.

The operation went well and just ten minutes after she woke up, the Labrador was in high spirits again, though a little bit wobbly.

On the same day, Cocoa went home to a foster home where she received the love, care, and attention she needed.

Three weeks after the surgery, Cocoa is all healed up. She still has the typical happy Labrador spirit in her!

Continue wagging your tail, Cocoa!

Thanks Dr. Matt!
