A skinny and wounded Labrador dog who was found wandering along a street was taken to Vet Ranch, who did an awesome job saving him – as they always do!
The Labrador mix had a huge wound on the back of his neck. Despite the trauma, the dog remained sweet and very loving throughout!
Dr. Matt anesthetized the dog to suture up his wound.
He could not determine whether the dog had been struck a vehicle or by a person – either way the poor dog needed urgent medical attention.
Dr. Matt intended to neuter the dog but noticed that the pup only had one testicle – meaning, the other testicle was still in his abdomen. He decided to deal with the dog’s wound first. He cleaned the black Lab mix’s wound and sutured it up.
The Labrador mix, who was later named Murphy, was neutered a couple of days later. Unfortunately, Dr. Matt lost the video and with his typical good humor apologized for it.
Only a few weeks later, Murphy is a happy dog who enjoys his daily walk with Dr. Matt! The pooch has also put on some much-needed weight!
From a sad, wounded dog, Dr. Matt transformed Murphy into a happy, healthy pooch! The dog’s wagging tail and bright eyes say it all!
This boy needs a loving home where he’ll be cared for properly. He’s in the San Antonio Texas area and still needs a home. To adopt Murphy, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for the amazing work that you do, Vet Ranch!
