Two New Dog Breeds And Larger Agility Events Feature At Westminster Show This Year!

At this year’s Westminster Show there will be two new dog breeds and larger agility events.

Last year, the show allowed mix breed dogs to compete in agility. This year the number of agility contestants increases from 225 to 330.

The breed judging of more than 2700 dogs will be held on Feb. 16 and 17.

Two new dog breeds make their debut. The Coton de Tulear and Wire-haired Vizsla.

Here is the breed judging schedule:

• Monday to include hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups
• Tuesday to include sporting, working and terrier groups

Gates open at 6 PM for best of breed benching area
• Monday to include hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups (beginning at 8 PM)
• Tuesday to include Junior Showmanship, sporting, working, terrier groups and BEST IN SHOW (beginning at 7:30 PM)
Monday night is LIVE ON CNBC from 8-11 PM Tuesday night is LIVE ON USA from 8-11 PM

Madison Square Garden, West 33rd Street & 7th Avenue

The Masters Agility Championship at Westminster will take place on Saturday, February 14th at Pier 94.
