As a part of the United Airlines United Paws Program, a pack of sweet professionally trained comfort dogs have been comforting stressed travelers stress in seven airports across the United States.
The airline invited the comfort dogs to seven of its hub airports nationwide for the first half of Christmas week.
The goal is to reduce stress and anxiety for holiday travelers.The comfort dogs walked in the airport terminals during a morning and afternoon shift.
On Monday, a team of comfort dogs, including Great Dane–Labrador mix Rugi, English Bulldog Cinnamon, and Retriever Pepper calmed and cheered up the participants of an event in Dulles International Airport.

United spokesman Jonathan Guerin says science proves that simply petting a dog can reduce stress, plus the dogs always bring smiles too.
