The Labrador was out for a walk on the beach with her owner when she was swept away by the tide at Sea Palling on Sunday morning.
Luckily, volunteer crews from Happisburgh were on a training exercise at the time. They diverted to the area and found the Lab on rocks on a reef.
The volunteers carried the Labrador into their boat. After ensuring that she was warm, the boat returned to the beach where the Lab was reunited safely with her owner.
An RNLI spokesman said: “We believe the Labrador was a nursing mother so this rescue will make a great difference to her pups.
