They say dog owners tend to look like their dogs and a cosmetic company has taken note of the idea.
MAC launched a make-up collection they called Haute Dogs. The dog-inspired collection celebrates the special connection between a woman and her beloved pooch.
The Haute Dogs collection consists of powders, liners, eyeshadows, lipsticks, and even nail polish. Each item comes in a variety of dog-perfect shades like rich copper tones, deep berry hues, and opaque grey tints. What’s more interesting is the way each product is named: Dressed To The K9, Snazzy Hound, and Lipstick Labradorable. Quite catchy and cute, right?
MAC’s latest collection is an awesome idea for dog loving people who are into cosmetics. Sadly, MAC does animal testing.
According to One Green Planet:
M.A.C. Cosmetics is part of the parent company, Estee Lauder. In 2012, Estee Lauder resumed animal testing, after claiming to have sworn off the practice, to meet testing requirements in Chinese markets. Although the Chinese government no longer legally requires cosmetics to be tested on animals, M.A.C. still falls under PETA’s no-fly list.
