Labradors will try and make friends with everyone – even sharks! This black Labrador Retriever was intrigued by a shark swimming near the shore!
During a walk with her Labrador, Brae Brae, in South Carolina’s Port Royal Sound, David Lauderdale’s wife spotted an unusual sight – a shark swimming in shallow waters!
Luckily, the friendly, curious Labrador left the shark to go about its business.
It seems that the shark meant no harm and left the area eventually.
David Lauderdale said:
“My wife went out to walk the dog last week and ended up walking a shark.
They were at the edge of Port Royal Sound. The mighty deep was lapping in at all of 6 inches. And there it was. The dorsal fin of a tiny version of Jaws came gliding by.
Brae Brae the wonder dog dashed into the surf as if she’d been assigned to the Shark Safety Patrol.”
