Labrador Puppy Dumped In Clothing Donation Bin In Long Island Has A New HomeIn New York, a black Labrador puppy dumped in clothing donation bin in near subzero temperatures has a new home.

Last Wednesday night, the 3-month-old female Labrador puppy was thrown into a clothing bin in a shopping center in Centereach.

A man, who pulled over to make a phone call, saw a woman putting a plastic bag in the bin and then drivingaway. He said he heard bottles rattling around.

At the time, he thought something seemed strange and checked out the bin. There, he spotted the little Labrador puppy and took her to safety.

If he wasn’t there, the puppy would have died, says the Suffolk SPCA. The hero man is also adopting her.

The woman who left the pup is described as a 39-year-old white female with straight long brunette hair. She was driving a black Ford Expedition with chrome wheels and a partial plate of 6744 (New York).

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential. Any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect will be given a $3,000 reward.
