Devon, 4-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, was found on a Fort Bend County road in Texas. The Lab had been dragged behind a car, shot, and left to die.

When the Fort Bend County Animal Shelter took her in, her right rear paw had multiple fractures and a bullet was lodged in her right shoulder. She immediately underwent surgery.

Save-A-Lab, a Texas-based Labrador Rescue, didn’t hesitate to help give Devon a new leash on life.

Three months later, Devon is ready to jump aboard with Pilot`s for Paw`s and fly to her new home in Atlanta.
