In Colorado, a chocolate Labrador mix finally got adopted after more than 8 years in the shelter.
Tiny, an 85-pound chocolate Labrador Retriever mix, spent most of his life in the Southern Colorado Spay and Neuter Clinic!
Earlier this month, the Lab went to his new forever home after two failed adoptions.
“Tiny was a full-grown dog, and a large one at that,” Lisa Buccambuso executive director of the clinic/shelter told The Pueblo Chieftain. “Add to his age his size and the fact that he had to be an only dog, and the odds were against him.”
On November 15, the clinic even had a going away party for the Labrador!
Tiny’s going away party photos were posted on the clinic’s Facebook Page with the caption:
“We were so proud to host a “going away” — also known as “we’re going to miss you” — party for Tiny today at the awesome Sit Means Sit, A Country Canine Resort!
After years at the clinic, our sweet boy FINALLY found his forever home.”
Aww! Hooray! Enjoy your new life, Tiny!
