During the two-hour special, each of the dogs will be presented with information on the adoption process. Information about adoptable animals in local areas will be presented as well.

If you can’t adopt or rescue one of the dogs on the show, you can still help. You can choose to donate to the Petfinder Foundation, which will distribute the funds among the many rescue organizations that actually go into the shelters, pull the dogs out, and find them foster homes until they can be adopted.
